Beach Cams are an awesome way to get a little beach therapy right on your computer. Some beach cams are better than others so I will point out the positives and negatives of the web cams listed here. My favorites always include the sounds of the ocean, not just a beach picture. A few may require that you download Realplayer, Java, or open your Windows Media player in order to enjoy them.

Sidenote: These are usually the most rewarding so take the extra steps and you will be pleasantly transported to a beach oasis with live video and sound.

Eagle Beach, Aruba Beach Web Cam

Amazing view of the wide and wonderful Eagle Beach with the clear blue water in the background. This is a very popular webcam in Aruba that zooms in everyday so that vacationers can pose for their poor freezing friends at home. It is located at the Bacuti Beach Resort. Downside is that it just shows still shots that are updated every 10 minutes and has no sound.

Akumal Beach, Quintana Roo, Mexico Beach Web Cam

Beautiful water view but no sound. Updated every 10 seconds. Requires Java but has a convenient link to download it if you need to. This beach cam must be located near a walking path because it often shows people walking up the beach.

Akumal Beach Web Cam

Daytona Beach, Florida Beach Web Cam

Amazing ocean sounds. No light at night, so no view at night. Updated every minute. Not the prettiest beach view on the web in my opinion, but that is probably because I just can't get used to seeing cars on the beach. It is a very popular beach and always has some activity to watch. Live streaming video.

Daytona Beach Cam

Surfside Beach, South Carolina Beach Web Cam

Slideshow presentation of different beach views is very sharp and stays interesting. Ocean sounds are great. Plays views from the day at night so you can still get your therapy.
