This beach is layed back with no pretentions. It reminds me of the beaches I visited as a child in the late 50's. It is also a very dog friendly town and even has a beach that is leash free. My sister and I, both in our 70's, watched the surfers and people with their dogs for hours. We found it very hard to leave. I hope they never modernize it like they did Avila Beach. We love the funkyness!
